Welcome to the Great 8 @ WPL wiki!

Greetings, intrepid adventurers! For Adventure 7, please do the following:

1. Create a PBwiki account, preferably using the same email address you used when you signed up for the Great 8. You will need to activate your account by clicking on the link in the email you receive.

2. Once you've got your account, head back here and add a book review, favorite recipe, movie review, or restaurant review to the wiki. To do this, click the appropriate folder name in the right-hand column, then from the menu on the upper left choose "New" -> "Create a wiki page." Add your content, and make sure to save when you are done. If you need to go back and edit it, you can, of course. Have fun! You're not being graded on content or style.

If you're feeling ambitious, you can add multiple pages, using a separate page for each review, recipe, etc. And if you're feeling super-duper ambitious and want to add a new folder (e.g., for music recommendations), I won't stop you!

3. Explore what other people have added to the wiki. For the purpose of this adventure, please don't edit the pages other users have created. However, I encourage you to write comments on other people's entries!

4. Write a blog post about your experience with this adventure. How did you find the wiki interface? Any obvious pros or cons that you see? How do you think our library could make use of wikis, either internally or as a way of sharing information with patrons?

NB: I have given "writer" access on this wiki to the email address you signed up for the Great 8 with. You must have writer access in order to edit this wiki and complete Adventure 7. If you find you do not automatically have access upon creating your PBwiki account, please request access, and I will grant it as soon as I am able.
